BTS SUGA, COVID-19 completely cured. He was released from quarantine today.
Big Hit Music said BTS member Sugar has been diagnosed with a cure for COVID-19. He was released from quarantine as of 12 p.m. on January 3, 2022.
Suga was diagnosed with COVID-19 on December 24, 2021 and has been receiving home treatment for 10 days.
Big Hit Music said, “Suga did not show any special symptoms of his health during the quarantine period, and he is currently recovering his condition by taking a break,” adding, “I deeply appreciate the fans who worried about the artist’s health and the medical staff who are working hard to overcome COVID-19.”
SUGA broke through and got infected.
Sugar was infected through the breakthrough even though the second vaccination against COVID-19 was completed. In addition to Suga, RM and Jin among the BTS members were diagnosed with COVID-19 breakthrough infection on the 25th of last month and are being treated.
BTS has been on its second official long-term vacation since its debut since the 6th of last month. It plans to hold a face-to-face concert in Seoul in March. It will release a new album sometime this year.
